The municipality of Stelvio (Stilfs in German) comprises two side valleys of the Val Venosta tourist area: the valleys of Trafoi and Solda. Lying at the foot of the tallest mountain in South Tyrol, the Ortles, the town is a magnet for tourists all year round.
